Research Hypothesis
Probiotics (good bacteria) may balance gut bacteria and reduce gas and bloating.
Intervention Tested
Multi-strain Probiotics (L. acidophilus, B. lactis)
Combination of Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM and Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-07, typically 1-10 billion CFU, taken twice daily
Study Results
Before Treatment
Frequent bloating and abdominal discomfort affecting quality of life.
After Treatment
Bloating improved significantly. 85% felt satisfied with their improvement vs only 47% on placebo.

Improvements typically seen within 2-4 weeks of consistent use
Side Effects
Very well tolerated. Some people notice more gas at first, which usually goes away.
