Knee pain and stiffness from arthritis. Hard to walk, climb stairs, or stay active.

Research Hypothesis

Glucosamine may help rebuild cartilage and slow down joint damage over time.

Intervention Tested

Glucosamine Sulfate

1500mg crystalline glucosamine sulfate once daily, taken with food

Duration: 3 years

Study Results

Before Treatment

Knee osteoarthritis with visible joint narrowing on X-rays and daily pain.

After Treatment

Joint space stopped narrowing (disease stopped progressing). Less pain and better movement.

Timeline to Improvement

Symptom improvements within months; structural benefits require 1-3 years of consistent use

Well tolerated. Occasional mild stomach upset.
