Ashwagandha Root Extract for Reducing Stress and Anxiety

Symptoms Studied

Feeling stressed out all the time, trouble concentrating, tired but wired, hard to relax.

Research Hypothesis

Ashwagandha may help the body handle stress better by lowering stress hormones like cortisol.

Intervention Tested

Ashwagandha (KSM-66 extract)

300mg full-spectrum ashwagandha root extract (KSM-66, standardized to 5% withanolides), taken twice daily (600mg total)

Duration: 60 days

Study Results

Before Treatment

High stress levels affecting mood, energy, and sleep. Feeling overwhelmed regularly.

After Treatment

Stress levels dropped significantly. Cortisol (stress hormone) went down by 28%. Felt calmer and more in control.

Timeline to Improvement

Significant improvements observed by day 30, with continued improvement through day 60

Side Effects

Well tolerated. No serious side effects reported.
