D-Mannose powder, grapefruit seed extract, cranberry extract powder for Overactive Bladder
My Symptoms
My bladder would feel like it isn’t able to fully empty, it’s sensitive to activity or even laying down for the night would irritate it and give me the need to pee. There was not pain but just the general discomfort or feeling of a full bladder ands midsection bloating. This feeling would last for multiple days or even more than a week sometimes. I could not sleep without peeing or feeling like I needed to pee multiple times each night. During the day I would pee sometimes 20-30 times.
My Hypothesis
I would drink pure cranberry juice when this would happen originally but I also saw a supplement of cranberry and grapefruit seed. I tried this along with D Mannose powder which I heard was good for urinary tract health. I thought this combination would amplify the benefits of each other.
What I Tried
D-Mannose powder, grapefruit seed extract, cranberry extract powder
I use the microingredients brand of D and take the recommended dose of a 2g scoop (a small palmful) at least twice each day while I have symptoms and for a day or so afterward in case. Pure Original Ingredients brand of cranberry extract powder, 1 Tablespoon in a glass of water, 2-3 times each day. NutriBiotic Grapefruit Seed Extract, 250mg capsules, 1 capsule, 2-3 times each day.
Results

Very Poor
I had to be close to a bathroom at all times. I could not sleep well because my bladder was so irritated. It made me short tempered and feel very hopeless at times.
After
10/10
Perfect
I get full relief after taking a 5-7 day course of this treatment.
Timeline to Improvement
7 days - I will get about a 50% reduction in symptoms after the first 36 hrs of this. Sometimes it works faster. After another 2-3 days I am fully back to normal, typically.
Side Effects
This is not negative in my opinion, but since I am drinking more fluids (the cranberry) I will have larger urine output during each bathroom visit. This doesn’t bother me as I would be peeing anyway, just tiny amounts. The larger volume feels more rewarding and it signals my treatment course is working.
Confidence Level
I would say 5/5, but it is possible that time itself plays a role in my improvement.

Conclusion
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who has urinary irritation at times. I think there’s no harm caused and I could do this even with no symptoms just to maintain urinary health. It’s easy, ensures I’m drinking fluids, and has no down side.
